Run Clubs App is a platform that aggregates and displays information about running clubs, including:

  • Community-submitted content

3.1 Data Collection

The information displayed on Run Clubs App is collected from multiple sources:

  • Public sources: Social media accounts, websites, and publicly available information
  • User-submitted data: Information provided by run club founders and community members
  • Third-party sources: Data aggregated from various public platforms

3.2 Verification Status

Run Clubs App uses a verification badge system:

  • Verified Badge (✓): Indicates that a run club founder has registered their club on Run Clubs App and claimed ownership. This badge ONLY confirms that someone has registered the club through our platform.
  • Unverified Listings: Run clubs without a verification badge have been added from publicly available sources and have not been claimed by their founders.

3.3 No Guarantee of Accuracy

Run Clubs App does NOT independently verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information displayed on the Platform, including but not limited to meeting locations, event schedules, contact information, route details, safety information, club membership requirements, or fees.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 No Responsibility for Inaccurate Information

BY USING THIS SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

Run Clubs App is NOT responsible or liable for:

  • Incorrect, outdated, or misleading information about run clubs
  • Changes to schedules, locations, or events not updated on the Platform
  • Discrepancies between information displayed and actual run club operations
  • Actions taken based on information obtained from the Platform

4.2 Assumption of Risk

You understand and agree that:

  • You use all information from Run Clubs App at your own risk
  • You are solely responsible for verifying all information independently before attending any run club event
  • Run Clubs App recommends contacting run clubs directly through their official channels before attending
  • You should always exercise caution and good judgment when meeting strangers or visiting unfamiliar locations

4.3 No Liability for Third-Party Actions

Run Clubs App is NOT liable for:

  • Acts or omissions of run clubs, their organizers, or participants
  • Injuries, accidents, theft, or any harm occurring at run club events or locations
  • Disputes between users and run clubs
  • Cancellations, changes, or no-shows at listed events
  • Quality, safety, or organization of any run club or event

4.4 No Endorsement

The listing of a run club on our Platform does NOT constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of safety, quality, or legitimacy. The verification badge indicates only that someone has registered through our platform and does NOT imply any verification of safety, credentials, or quality.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Run Clubs App, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, investigations, liabilities, judgments, fines, penalties, settlements, interest, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) that directly or indirectly arise from or are related to your use of the Service, your attendance at any run club event, any injuries or harm experienced, any violation of these Terms, or any violation of applicable laws or regulations.

7. User Responsibilities

7.1 Due Diligence

You agree to:

  • Contact run clubs directly to confirm schedules, locations, and event details
  • Exercise reasonable care and caution when attending events or visiting locations
  • Assess your own fitness level and medical condition before participating in running activities
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7.2 Safety

You acknowledge that:

  • Running and physical activity carry inherent risks
  • Meeting strangers or visiting unfamiliar locations carries risks
  • You are solely responsible for your personal safety
  • You should inform someone of your whereabouts when attending events
  • You should assess weather conditions, terrain, and other safety factors independently

8. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

8.1 Binding Arbitration

YOU AND RUN CLUBS APP AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING ARBITRATION, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify, or either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to prevent infringement of intellectual property rights.

8.2 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND RUN CLUBS APP AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

9. Changes to Terms

Run Clubs App reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending email notifications to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
